12 - 14 July 2011, The National Research Institute Conference Centre, Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
This conference aims to critically analyse the past experiences of universalizing basic education in PNG with a view to examine where PNG is now, decide on where it should be in 2015, and to articulate how it will get there.
The conference seeks to mobilize support and create a supportive and collaborative environment for increased commitment and action from all stakeholders towards the full attainment of the goal of UBE. It is envisaged that the conference will come up with concrete and implementable strategies with clear and attainable UBE outcomes for action by all stakeholders, particularly the governments at the national and decentralised levels.
